Here you will find a recap of events and decisions that will effect the nudist way of living or simply items of interest to nudists.
The Rogue Suncatchers Readers held their first meeting on October 22. This initial session was primarily for setting up the structure for the Special Interest Group, SIG, and we did just that. We are going to meet monthly and rotate locations among the members that have suitable places where we can discuss our reading. We also decided to start by recapping what each member is reading and they will give their opinions about the books. This group is willing to change any procedures if we decide anot her format would work better for us. There are openings in the group and we welcome other Suncatchers to join. All that is required is an interest in reading and a small amount of time each month.
The closing of the Naturist Society Foundation was announced this month. They will produce one more issue of "N" magazine, their quarterly journal, then close down the operation. TNSF began in 1980 as a publication of Lee Baxandall's group and grew to a fairly large organization which represented our interests both locally and on the national stage. Their publication included some interesting facts and historical stories by Mark Storey among many other authors. We will certainly miss TNSF and thank them for all they have done over these 46 years.
The Rogue Suncatchers has a few publications about nudism and the struggle to legalize it in the USA, sunlight and our relationship to it, and a couple of personal works about working in the industry as well as exploring nudism. The publications are shown here and they are available for loan to club members. Contact: dgcantrade@gmail.com
If you use a ereader like Kindle you might be interested to know that AMAZON has quite a few novels and novellas based on nudist themes. Many of these are free with a Kindle+ account. They are mostly light reading stories that go quickly. (No Crime & Punishment here.). Just search for "nudist" on their Kindle website.
